Dubai Desert Buggy Driving Experience with Dune Bashing & Camel Ride

Self-drive a dune buggy for 60 minutes in the Dubai desert, with dune bashing, a camel ride, sandboarding and hotel transfers.

Take the wheel of your own desert buggy and spend 60 minutes carving through the dunes on the edge of Dubai. Experienced desert guides lead the route, set the pace and keep the group together, so confident drivers and first-timers are equally at home behind the wheel.

The driving session sits inside a half-day desert programme. Before you drive, a professional dune-bashing run in a 4x4 introduces you to the terrain; afterwards there is time for sandboarding down the slip faces and a short camel ride in the traditional Bedouin style. Helmets and safety equipment are provided, water and soft drinks are complimentary, and the day begins and ends with a shared hotel pick-up and drop-off in central Dubai.

Choose the machine that suits your group: two-seat Polaris and Can-Am buggies for couples, four-seaters for small families, and a six-seat Polaris Ranger for everyone travelling together. Each buggy is priced as a vehicle rather than per person, so the whole group rides for one price.

Please note

    Each price covers one vehicle, not one person - a two-seat buggy carries two people for a single price.

    Drivers must be at least 20 years old and carry a valid official ID. Passengers must be at least 6.

    Hotel pick-up is usually 60 to 90 minutes before the departure time you select. The driving session itself lasts 60 minutes.

    Helmets are compulsory and must be worn throughout the ride, and you will be asked to sign an indemnity form before driving.

    Drifting, over-speeding or reckless driving will end the ride, and no refund is given for a partially used experience.

    Not recommended for pregnant travellers or anyone with back or neck problems.

    Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and leave heavy luggage behind.
