6 Emirates in a Day Private Tour from Dubai

10 hours

Easy

All six of the northern Emirates in one long day by private car: Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and back.

Most visitors see Dubai and Abu Dhabi and assume that is the UAE. This is the other five, in one ten-hour loop north and east out of the city: Sharjah's mosques and souqs, Ajman's corniche and heritage quarter, a pass through Umm Al Quwain, then Ras Al Khaimah and over the Hajar mountains to Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman.

The stops include Qanat Al Qasba and the King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah, the Ajman Corniche and heritage area, Fujairah Fort and the Bidiya Mosque - the oldest in the country - the Khorfakkan waterfalls and the Al Rafisah Dam, with a scenic drive through the mountains between them.

It is a private vehicle with a driver, collected from and returned to your Dubai hotel, so the price is for the car rather than per seat. Choose the plain tour or the version that includes lunch on the road.

    Please note

This is a long day - around ten hours door to door - with a lot of driving between the emirates.

The price covers the vehicle and driver, not a seat per person, so the whole group travels for one fare.

Dress modestly for the mosques and cultural sites, with shoulders and knees covered.

Pick-up is from centrally located hotels and residences in Dubai - Deira, Bur Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road and Marina.

Some sites may be closed on certain days or weekends; no compensation is offered for a closure outside the operator's control.

Avoid photographing people without their permission, particularly in the more conservative emirates.

Travel light - heavy luggage is not suited to a full-day tour.

      What to bring

A valid photo ID or passport

Modest clothing for the mosques, and comfortable shoes

A light sweater or jacket for winter evenings

        Sunscreen, sunglasses and your voucher
